Jonathon Berry
Jonathon Berry studies Psychology and Music Performance at the University of Kentucky. He has been an undergraduate research assistant in the Comparative Cognition Lab since Summer 2014, working with dogs, pigeons, and rats. Despite diverse research interests across cognitive, clinical, and social psychology, he is currently investigating an ephemeral choice task in rats. This task is deceptively simple, as optimal performance has only been observed in fish and parrots, where primates and pigeons have both failed. He has also worked in the Social Impairment of Children with ADHD Lab and the Belief and Morality Lab at the University of Kentucky. He plans to earn a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology focusing on mindfulness-based interventions and hopes to continue studying cognition and making music.
