SEVENTEENTH ANNUAL
CANE RIDGE RESTORATION LECTURESHIP
July 31 - August 3, 1997

Theme: "Ask For The Old Paths"

Jeremiah 6:16 says, "Thus saith Jehovah, stand ye in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way; and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls." God's Word is not only a light which illuminates, it tells us the proper path to take. Therefore, our desire must be to ask for the old paths. Then there will be spiritual rest if we will follow that path. The theme of the program this year is "Ask for the Old Paths."

Singing is an important element of the Cane Ridge Restoration Lectureship. As usual, we have an outstanding song leader with plenty of time designated for singing praises to God.

Restoration history will be well presented with a number of daytime lectures by several speakers. Also, on Friday afternoon we want to emphasize the tours of Restoration sites with knowledgeable guides to help and answer questions along the way. Current issues that confront the church will be dealt with by talented speakers. Evening keynote addresses will present topics from "Preach the Word" to "The Lord Added to the Church." Sunday will be a highlight of the week with a class on giving and a sermon on "The Law of Faith." The culmination will be at the Cane Ridge Meeting House with the topic, "I will Build My Church: Have the Old Paths Been Restored?"

Please accept our invitation to take advantage of these wonderful Bible topics and outstanding speakers and attend the 1997 Cane Ridge Restoration Lectureship.
