Peaches Rotting


The pieces, "Peaches, Rotting" and "Shot" are entwined conceptually in theme and motivation. The images of fruit decaying represent the unnoticeable process of life passing. "Shot" locates an element of that process in the specific moment of life passing.
 
This question became much more poignant for me since my cousin was lost in the World Trade Center collapse. The event made me question what remained during the traumatic transformation that took place on that morning.
