Kentucky Institute for International Studies
Berlin Program
View to Alexanderplatz

____________
For a number of years, I served as a faculty member and director for the Berlin Program through the Kentucky Institute for International Studies (KIIS), bringing students from Kentucky and the region to the cultural and artistic behemoth of Berlin. This experience continues to inform my creative practice and my connection to the city, and to the German language, which remains a source of inspiration for me.
In both 2018 and 2020, faculty and students participated in the show 48 Hours of Neukoelln, a contemporary art show that happen in an entire district of Berlin.
I have also taught with KIIS in Argentina, Barcelona, and other international locations. While I am not currently teaching with KIIS, I plan to do so again in the future.
