With the turn of events in world at that time and the invasion of Iraq, I felt compelled to make a piece that reflected the experience of that war from my vantage point here in Kentucky. "3/19, A View from my Porch", utilizes time compression to concentrate an entire days events in three minutes mixed with the actual sounds of the missile launch on Baghdad which took place on that date.
