Service Commitments
The UK Campus Community
My service to the University was primarily related to serving on committees as an administrative representative from our College. I served as chair of several Provost University committees over the years (e.g., 2014 Course Capacity Audit, 2016 Provost Task Force on Institutional Effectiveness) and have benefitted from serving on the UK General Education Oversight Committee, the QEP Steering Committee, and collaborating with several UK Institutional Research and Advanced Analytics committees.
During the 2019-2020 academic year I serve on the UK Apple Partnership Academic Advisory Board and as a reviewer for the CELT Teaching Innovation Institute.
College of Communication and Information
Until January 1, 2020 I was responsible for developing reports (e.g., Analytics, College Self Study) for the College Dean based on custom Tableau Dashboards and Workbooks I designed. I also enjoyed managing College Technology personnel and providing oversight for the CI Co-Lab as well as serving on the College Resource Committee, Space Committee, and Undergraduate Retention Committee. Finally, I served as an ex-officio member of the College Faculty Council and assisted with our College National Advisory Board.
Department of Communication
Over the past twenty years I have had the opportunity to serve on all of the Department committees including (but not limited to) Curriculum and Assessment, Academic Personnel, Resource, and Strategic Planning.
