What we do

• Health and Safety for all Campus Physical Plant employees
• Assist services groups with Health and Safety issues
• Work with the University Health and Safety Program on various issues
• Provide CPPD Health and Safety training online and in a classroom
• Oversee mold remediation projects
• Prepare a quarterly Health And Safety Newsletter
• Investigate on-the-job injuries (OJI), mishaps and incidents
• Maintain databases on OJI and Vehicle Accidents within CPPD
• Creating Safety Data Sheet Database for Chemicals Used within CPPD
• Maintain the CPPD Health and Safety Website
• Participate in University Motor Vehicle Accident Review Board, University Safety Committee and Parking Violation Appeal Committee
