OPERATIONAL WIZARD

In addition to being able to access the project content via the operational guidance portion of the website, the user may also download an operational wizard either to a personal computer or Android Phone which can then be used to access the data in a user supported format. The wizard (called the Water Distribution System Wizard) is an expert system designed to provide water distribution network engineers, managers and operators with context-sensitive recommendations for optimizing network operations. The wizard prompts the user with a series of questions which are used to direct the user to the appropriate content. The WDS Wizard is actually one component of a larger water distribution system decision support system called Water Wizard. Water Wizard was developed as part of this project under contracts with Western Kentucky University and the University of Alabama.
