Trenton-Black River: Graduate Theses
Two graduate students at the Department of Geological Sciences, University of Kentucky are involved in this project for their M.S. theses.
Clay Wilcox is working on the geology and geochemistry of the hydrothermal dolostones. Title: Origin and geochemistry of Ordovician hydrothermal dolomite bodies in central Kentucky. Clay's thesis advisor is Dr. Jim Drahovzal at the Kentucky Geological Survey, University of Kentucky.
Bill Reid is working on seismic acquisition and imaging of the dolostone bodies. Title: High Resolution Geophysical Imaging of Middle Ordovician Dolomitic Structures. Bill's thesis advisor is Dr. Ed Woolery, Dept. of Geological Sciences, University of Kentucky.
