KENTUCKY
CRITTER FILES
Kentucky's insects,
spiders, and other arthropods
ABOUT
THE CRITTER FILES |
|
The Kentucky Critter
Files is an on-line guide to common insects, spiders, and
other arthropods that live in Kentucky. It is designed for
use by anyone with an interest in entomology, especially students,
teachers, 4H entomologists, and insect hobbyists.
This site contains basic
identification tips, plus biological and ecological information,
and other general information. It is NOT intended to be used as a scientific identification key. For technical pest control
information related to Kentucky field crops, gardens, landscape
plants, and the home please visit the University of Kentucky Department
of Entomology's extension collection of ENTFacts at:

DONATE PHOTOS
If you have a good digital photo of an arthropod that we don't have
on the site, send it to us via email and we may be able to use it.
We can't give any payment, but we will give you photo credit,
of course. We need photos that are crisp and clear, and the
subjects must be live and photographed in their habitat. |
