GERMAN CHOCOLATE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE

Ingredients:
1 cup coconut
1 cup pecans
1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 stick butter
8 oz cream cheese
3 3/4 cups powdered sugar (we use 6X)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees for a glass pan, or 350 degrees for metal.

Spray a 13X9 cake pan with pam. Spread coconut and pecans across
the bottom of pan. Mix the German Chocolate cake mix as directed
and pour the batter over coconut and pecans. Melt butter and cream
cheese together and mix in 3 3/4 cup of powdered sugar (a 1 lb box).
Pour the cream cheese mixture in a web pattern into the batter. Bake
for 30-40 minutes.

The cake is best when it's done, but still gooey. Over-baking makes
the sugar caramelize and get hard on the bottom.
