Objectives:

This course examines tools and methods for executing electronic commerce (E-Commerce) initiatives.  It fosters understanding of implementation issues, provides knowledge of relevant technologies, and develops practical skills in building web-based E-Commerce systems.  Consideration is given to designing these systems' interfaces, functionalities, contents, and coordination protocols.  Technologies for building systems that conform to such designs are covered, including HTML, JavaScript, and higher-level facilities.

 

 

Assignments:

There will be assignments involving the use of HTML and JavaScript, written assignments, and a group project.  Details for these assignments will be announced in class with at least one week's notice.

 

 

Late Policy:

Assignments submitted after the due date will be penalized 10% per day.

 

 

Exams:

There will be a comprehensive final.
