Guidelines on Excel Case Assignments
1. Read
the scenario described for each case assignment carefully.
2.
Print
out a copy of each report as directed by the instruction of each assignment. Put your name
and the task to which it belongs on
the header (under Page Setup) of each printout.
3.
Save
your EXCEL file as ####hw?.xls
where #### is the last four
digits of your student number
? is the assignment number
(e.g. 1 for assignment 1)
Guidelines on Access Case Assignments
1. Read the scenario described for each
case assignment carefully.
2. Rename
the table, query, form, and report with your name attached to it (e.g., Anita’s
Writer Table), so that your name will appear in all printouts.
3. Save/Rename your ACCESS
file as ####hw?.mdb
where #### is the last four
digits of your student number
? is the assignment
number (e.g. 1 for assignment 1)
Guidelines on submitting your assignment
files
On the day when the
assignment is due, copy your worksheet/database to the Homework folder by
following the steps listed below:

Double
click on the UKClass icon
·
Double
click on the B&E folder
·
Double
click on the Dis320 folder
·
Double
click on the LeePost folder
·
Double
click on the Homework folder
·
Locate
your assignment file from your diskette or your locker
·
Drag your
assignment file to the Homework
window.
NOTE:
– It is
considered late if I do not receive your work by 10am on the day it is due,
– Late penalty
is 10% per day,
– It is each
student’s responsibility to ensure a functional and clearly labeled copy
has been submitted before the beginning of class on the due day,
– It is an individual
work (i.e., no copying from others or group work).
– You MUST
have BACK-UPS for all your work
