"At this the violin gave a big sigh and smiled. Yes, she was happy - a part of a big family of instruments - the orchestra." And then she said, "Mr. Piano, now that I'm part of a big family, what can we do together?" |
The piano smiled. "That is a good question. But before you can do anything together, you need one more member of the orchestra?" |
"Another member? You mean there is another instrument?" said the violin.
The piano answered, "Not exactly. The final member of the orchestra is a person, the conductor. It is the conductor who chooses the music the instruments will play and then makes sure they all play nicely together."
"What about me? I'm a member of the orchestra," they heard a booming voice. "Everyone ALWAYS forgets about me."
