BLACKBURN TELLICO (Nymph)

Hook: Mustad 9671 (2X Nymph) #6-12
Thread: Brown
Tail: Brown hackle fibres 2/3 shank length
Wing Case: Turkey wing strip, full length top of body Rib: 2-3 peacock herls spiraled full length (under wing case)
Body: Dirty golden yellow dubbing (hare's ear plus golden) Hackle: Brown hackle palmered on forward 1/3 of body(under wing case)


GEORGE NYMPH (Cottontop Nymph)

Hook: Mustad 94840 (dry fly) #8-12
Thread: Black
Tail: Brown hackle fibres
Wing Case: Turkey wing strip, full length top of body
Body: Peacock herl
Hump: White fur or acrylic, tied in on top as hump after turkey wing back is secured and before throat is tied in; after the throat is tied in and trimmed then white hump is pulled forward tied off and trimmed before whip finish
Throat: Brown hackle tied collar style and trimmed on top


STREAKER NYMPH (Nymph)

Hook: Mustad 9671 (2X Nymph) or Mustad 9672 (3X Nymph) #6-12
Thread: Black
Tail: Brown hackle fibres (short) or none
Wing Case: Turkey wing strip full length top of body (thin)
Rib: 1-2 peacock herls spiraled full length (under wing case)
Body: Tan or light brown mixed w/golden dubbing applied thin
Hackle:Short brown hackle fibres tied in as a throat


PATTERNS FOR EAST TENNESSEE

These are a group of patterns that I have found useful in East Tennessee.

This is one of Al Troth's original patterns.

Thread: Tan or Brown
Palmer Rib: Brown Hackle palmered through body
Body: Hare's Ear & Mask Dubbing Fur(or other desired color of dubbing)
Wing: Tan Elk Hair Fibres
Head: Trimmed Butts of Elk Hair Wing

NO HACKLE CADDIS (Olive Version)
The simplest and often most versatile of all.

Hook: Mustad 94840 or Tiemco 100 (#10-22)
Thread: Olive
Body: Olive Dubbing
Wing: Tan Coastal Deer Hair or Grey Poly Yarn
Note: This pattern is effective in a very wide variety of colors including grey, green, tan, black, brown and even yellow and orange.

Collar: Rainbow Krystal Flash tied in just behind head 1 1/2 times hook length.
