America Recycles Day
Every year, UK Recycling celebrates America Recycles Day on November 15th! The celebrations are filled with fun activities to help educate our community about what's recyclable on campus.
DIY Day
UK Recycling partners with multiple community groups to host DIY Day. This event provides tools and teaches skills on how to live a low-waste life. This event features how-tos like changing a bicycle tire and mending clothes.
Give & Go Donations
At the end of each semester, UK recycling collects usable, unwanted items from students on campus and donates them to multiple community groups. For more information about Give & Go, click here.
Sustainability Festival
In the fall, UK Recycling partners with UK Grad-Family and other campus organizations to showcase our campus sustainability efforts and programs that are available to students and their families.
Pop Up Thrift Shop
Each spring, UK Recycling collects donations of unwanted clothing and hosts a Pop Up Thrift Shop for students. UK Recycling partners with multiple campus organizations to host this exciting event.
