Details of the position include:
Timeline: May 15th -- August 15th (specific start and end dates can be flexible based on the student's needs).
Description: This is a paid fellowship opportunity with the potential for 399 Class Credit. Our fellow will attend farm visits, team meetings, extension programs, etc.; work collaboratively & independently on projects; collect data from farmers markets & produce auctions; & assist in social media content creation.
Outcomes: Our fellow will...
- Gain experience writing extension-focused material & creating social media content.
- Gain exposure to Kentucky's horticulture industry via farm visits & attending a conference or field day program(s). Travel costs will be provided.

Other details: students are not required to have farm experience, but should exhibit an interest in specialty crops or a willingness to learn about them. Students do not have to participate in this fellowship for internship credit, but have the opportunity to do so. This position is open to a student of any undergraduate standing. This position will require some weekend availability, familiarity with Microsoft Excel, and a desire to work with a cool team of people!
