Safety Resources for Students

At the University of Kentucky, we put students at the center of everything that we do. Everyone on our campus -- faculty, staff and students -- is committed to that vision. We are a welcoming, inclusive community that values safety and sense of belonging for everyone. To the point of safety, UK has implemented a state-of-the-art security system for campus that includes a video monitoring system with more than 1,400 cameras; centralized access control for campus buildings; and a comprehensive early warning emergency notification.

The information on this page outlines several resources and people at UK who are dedicated to your safety and ensuring you find your place in this community. We encourage you to use these resources and lean on these people, who are dedicated to your success.
