Good afternoon!

We have now made available the entire listing of the major/minor sheet inventory that can be accessed directly from the Registrar website located here: http://www.uky.edu/registrar. You can access the page directly here: http://www.uky.edu/academics/2015-16-major-sheet-inventory. We will always maintain a complete listing of all major sheets as we make improvements to AET. As we make updates to accessing the curriculum information from each program page, and displaying the major template information, the process should be seamless and the inventory will remain and be accessed in the same or very similar manner. If you have any questions about this process, just let me know. 

We are excited to begin new enhancements to the Academic Exploration Tool. Over the course of the next few months, we will be focusing on making improvements and implementing your suggestions to the tool.

Below is a brief summary of the items and features we will be implementing:

• First-time user visit tutorials - this will be a simple and unobtrusive way to guide the user through how to use the search functions if it is their first time on the site.
• Alternate table view. In addition to the list and grid view, this will allow users to view high level program data (college, program name, degree type, pdf access/download) in a condensed view via a table.
• Search results changes include:
  • When a user lands on a “no results” page, the site should suggest some recommendations based on most commonly or recently searched terms.
  • When filtering by college, the college description and contact details appear above the results.
• Ability to view all programs from the associated college in the sidebar
• Exploring the inclusion of KY state agency data much like BLS data
• Ability for programs to add social media channels to their pages
• Improvements to the analytics dashboard that include search keyword data
