Ready to gain knowledge related to sport, exercise, and performance?  

The Undergraduate Certificate in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology is beneficial if you are looking to gain a deeper understanding of human behavior and the psychological factors that impact that behavior in sport, performance, and exercise settings. The certificate is located in the College of Education and is in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion.

 

Skills you will gain by completing this undergraduate certificate are:

  • Fundamental knowledge of the key concepts and theories related to sport, performance and exercise psychology 
  • Develop critical self-reflection skills
  • Foster an appreciation for diversity by learning about working with marginalized populations in sport and the sociopolitical importance of sport

 

What can I do with this undergraduate certificate?

You will gain a broad foundation of knowledge in sport, exercise, and performance psychology that is not typically available at the undergraduate level. In addition to gaining knowledge, this undergraduate certificate can prepare you for graduate program admission.
