jtgayh2 has sent you a group email from Academics. AET Authors,   Thank you so much for your contributing to the Academic Exploration Tool on behalf of your college and programs. We have met with many motivated programs and colleges that have excited us about launching this new tool. So far, the work that has been done is incredible! We delivered baseline pages to each of you and the way that some are extending, improving and customizing their pages are simply incredible! Some of you asked about examples of programs that are either complete or have implemented some new ideas. Here are some examples that we’ve noticed:   There are so many other great examples from across the colleges that you can browse in the content section or by browsing the front end of the AET tool. Update on progress: We have completed onboarding, training and account creation for all colleges. Several colleges are complete and ready for launch, though they are continuing to make small tweaks and updates, which is fine. We are working with each of you on an individual basis on completing your pages. Right now, given where we are, we are looking to launch - for undergraduate programs only - at the end of January, beginning of February. Please work with your areas to ensure that your pages have the required baseline information present in order to launch at the end of January, beginning of February. Any ‘nice to have items’ can be added at any given time after launch. As you make progress on your pages, here are the items most important:
  • The stat call outs, about, contact information (to include a photo if available), graduation requirements text, careers section and keyword tags are complete.
  • Minors pages are now complete and in your content queue, please verify and update all your minor pages in the system
  • Updates to photos, copy or text is complete
We hope you continue to make progress on your pages, minors and information. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at jtgayh2@Uky.edu or by phone at 859-257-5458 Happy Holidays! -Tyler
