Community & Leadership Development - Minor

Want to make a difference in your community?  If you have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enjoy teaching and sharing knowledge, and want to help empower others - consider a Minor in Community Leadership and Development.  This minor is an excellent complement to any academic major for those that see themselves of positions of building capacity in a variety of fields or environments.

Classes & Requirements

The minor in Sustainable Agriculture requires 21 to 23 hours of course work.

CLD 320 Community and Communication:

CLD 370 Learning in Society ................................................................ 3

CLD 430 Leading in Communities:

Vision, Action, and Change .................................................................. 3

 

Students must choose 6 hours of additional CLD courses at the 300 level and above, in consultation with their advisor.
