The Digital Media and Design Minor gives students a grounding in graphic design, web design, digital photography and digital videography. The Digital Media and Design Minor is open to students from any college.
Students will gain critical skills for succeeding in today’s world, including the ability to work with still and moving images using the latest software. Our alumni are working as professional photographers, graphic designers, art educators, professional artists, and in art galleries, museums, and in other industries.
Students will choose from courses that teach practical skills in digital photography, studio lighting, web design, graphic design and digital video as well as theories of graphic design and photography. Through the completion of the minor, students will understand both how to create and present digital content effectively.
