AET Authors,

We will be making several functional and feature improvements over the holiday break. Following the break, there will be a few new options on the back-end and front-end when you log in to AET. Many of you provided feedback on the functional enhancements, so thank you!

Functional Enhancements:

• Added quick links to graduate programs and undergraduate programs on the menu bar

• Video Fix for Mobile Embed (for youtube and vimeo embed links) a ‘video button’ now appears in the editor on the back end

• Social Share, download, print and email buttons will be operational on the front end above the contact information box

  • PDF Generation Feature only available for undergraduate programs (once myUK: GPS module is enabled in spring 2016)

• Rollover definitions for degree type tags (to show definition of the terms BS, BA, BBA, MS, PHD)

• Sort results by college

• Sort results by degree type (BS, BA, PHD, etc.)

• Infinite Scroll on search results

• List view categorized by alphabet (adjusted atop and left)

Bureau of Labor and Statistics Data Option:

• BLS data for over 200+ careers available to choose from

  • Options to add or ignore BLS featured career information

• Select all or none of the following:

  • Salary

  • Number of Jobs

  • Job Outlook

  • Work Environment

  • Similar Jobs

• This XML feed is updated every two years, which was just recently updated earlier this month
  

myUK: GPS Curriculum Data Integration

• This data will not be implemented for this phase. myUK: GPS is still a work in progress and will be implemented as the Graduation Planning System comes online in 2016.

• For now, we will launch referencing the curriculum on the Major Sheets included on each page.
