Magnitude 3.8 Greenbrier, Arkansas.  February 17, 2011

A minor earthquake occurred Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 05:49:48 EST (10:49:48 UTC) near Greenbrier, Arkansas.   The magnitude 3.8 earthquake occurred 6.5 kilometers (4.0 miles) underground.

The earthquake was recorded by the Kentucky Seismic and Strong-Motion Network, operated jointly by the Kentucky Geological Survey and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Kentucky.
