Display options
Most DjVu files contain images stored in more than one layer. There may be several background layers, a mask layer, and a foreground layer. By switching between the various display modes, you can see what type of graphical information is stored in each layer.
These options are available from both the toolbar and the right-click pop-up menu.
Table 1: Display options Option Description Display colorimage Click to display the document in color (default). All layers are visible.For more information, see The effects of the Display Mode setting on printing. Display text and drawings in black and white Click to display the document in black and white. Only the mask layer, which typically stores text in black, is visible.For more information, see The effects of the Display Mode setting on printing. Display image background Click to display the background layer of the document. Only background layers are visible. Background layers store the images and paper color. Display image foreground Click to display the foreground layer of the document, which typically stores colors of the text that are obscured by the masking layer.
