Four brands of
medium and three lots of seed from two sources were tested according to the same
procedures used in the soilless medium screen. Counts below are for two weeks after seeding.
There were significant differences for both germination and spiral root
between seed lots. Right now I do
not know what the difference is between Lot A and Lot B form the Rickard seed
company.
