As Roundup Ready crops increase, drift damage reports have become
common. Roundup may kill tobacco
if the exposure is too great. More commonly milder symptoms appear from
non-direct spray drift. Note
yellow or white spotting along secondary veins that almost highlight the vein.
A heavier drift may produce
yellow blotches as in the next to last picture. A more direct hit
may produce more severe symptoms (see last
picture). Tobacco should not be planted next to Roundup Ready crops.
