7:30-8:00  Orientation - Agronomy Building, Spindletop Farm

8:00 Travel to first stop at Woodford County Farm.  Leave Agronomy Building, turn left on Ironworks Pike and travel 2.2 miles to a left exit onto I-75 south.  Once on I-75 stay right for 1.6 miles to an exit onto I-64 toward Frankfort/ Louisville.  Travel 9.3 miles to Midway Exit and turn left over interstate 0.1 miles to Hwy 421 turning right for 0.2 miles to a left onto US 62 and travel 7.0 miles to US 60 turning right for 0.3 miles to farm entrance on right. (As you near US 60 you will see UK tobacco field on right).  Those wishing to meet us at the UK Woodford Co. Farm may do so.  Please enter farm through gate past US 62.  Those arriving from Frankfort area note that there is no turn lane for entrance to farm.

Travel to front gate turning right onto Hwy 62 and travel to 1.1 miles to stop light.  Turn left onto Hwy 60 and veer to the right 0.2 miles from light (this is continuation of Hwy 62 or Business 60) traveling through Versailles 1.1 miles to a right as Hwy 62 turns toward Lawrenceburg (Kessler’s BBQ is on right).  Travel 2.8 miles to farm entrance on left.

Leave Thompson farm turning left (watch for traffic) travel 8 miles across Kentucky River thru Lawrenceburg to Hwy 127.  Turn left and travel 0.8 miles to a right on Hwy 62.  Travel 3.2 miles to left into farm

11:50 – No-till Tobacco – Chris Conway Farm – Dr. Bob Pearce

Leave farm turning right back 3.2 miles to Hwy 127.  Turn left traveling 1.3 miles past the Wal-mart to a right into the City Park and the Anderson Co. Extension Office.

12:20 - Lunch – Anderson County Extension Service

Leave the Anderson Co. Extension office turning right onto Hwy 127 and traveling 2.1 miles to a left onto Hwy 151 North.  Travel 7.8 miles turning left onto Hwy 60.  Travel 10.5 miles to a right onto Hwy 1871 at the Shelby Co. High School.  Travel 0.7 miles turning left onto Hwy 1779.  Make an immediate right past the corn field into the Vo AG area

1:40 - Monty's Plant Food Trials - Shelby Co. High School - Dr. Bob Pearce

Leave the Vo Ag Farm turning left onto Hwy 1779 and travel 0.2 miles back to Hwy 1871.  Travel 1.3 miles to a left onto Hwy 1005.  Travel 0.2 miles to a right onto Hwy 43. Travel 1.7 miles to a left into farm (gravel road)

2:10 – Ray Tucker Farm – Gary Palmer

Leave farm turning left onto Hwy 43 traveling 1 mile staying left onto Hwy 43 for 8 miles thru Cropper & Pleasureville to a traffic light at Hwys 421 & 22.  Turn right and then an immediate left staying on Hwy 22.  Travel 1 mile to Roberts Farm on the left.
