Pecan Weevil

The pecan weevil is a small beetle with a long snout. It emerges from the ground in late August, about the time nuts begin to harden, usually following a heavy rain. After the pecan nut kernels have hardened, the female uses her long snout to chew a hole in the side of the nut then deposits her eggs in little pockets inside.

NOTE: Use the menus to change the number of puzzle pieces, make the pieces rotatable, change the background color, or see a hint of the completed puzzle.

To play, drag and drop a puzzle piece to position it. The pieces will click together if they match and are close enough to align.
