Current and Recent Graduate Student Projects

Michael Seagraves (Ph.D. student) is studying Coleomegilla maculata in sweet corn, including potential cultivated companion plants to enhance predation on corn earworm eggs.

Kimberly Tarburton (M.S. student) is studying the phenology of the squash bug and its natural enemies, as well as chemical and alternative control methods for this cucurbit pest.

Sonja Brannon (M.S. student) investigated diapause in Geocoris uliginosus and compared its cannibalistic behavior with that of G. punctipes.
