The Personal Information Security and Breach Investigation Procedures and Practices Act (KRS 61.932) went into effect January 1, 2015. It applies to every state agency and
university. The Act requires that an agency that maintains or otherwise possesses personal information in any form must implement, maintain, and update security procedures

Consequently, the names and certification numbers of private applicators can no longer be made available through a UK web site or from Cooperative Extension Offices. These
numbers must be obtained directly from the certified individuals.
The county lists on this website provide names of certified private applicators and the year their certification expires (December 31 of that year).
