This past year the club was involved in various activities. In September, we held a cookout for all the new pledges. They were also given a tour of the campus farm. In October, we hosted an AQHA Horseshow. We also sponsored a booth at a dog show benefiting the local humane society. The club put on a Haunted Hay Ride and spook house for the public at the end of the month. November's activities consisted of the Little International Livestock Show and the annual Pledge Sale. In December, we held initiation at the Chapel. In February, the club worked the Dixie Nationals Livestock Judging contest in Jackson, MS, and hosted and competed in an annual Collegiate Rodeo. In March, we attended the National Block and Bridle Convention. April's activities included the annual crawfish boil, All-Eastern Livestock Judging contest, and School Days on the Farm (for grades K-5). We also sponsored two club members to enter a hog cooking contest in which they won Honorable Mention. Also, 20 male members danced at a benefit for a local woman with cancer. All the money made went to her treatments. In April, we had our annual awards banquet, and concluded the year with the induction of the new officers, and adjourned meetings for the summer.
