At the 2012 University of Kentucky Founders Day ceremony, my graduate student Nesa Wasarhaley and I were both recognized for our commitment to Teaching. I was recognized for being named the Kentucky Professor of the Year, and Nesa received the Provost's Award for Outstanding Teaching for Teaching Assistants.
