Guangrong Zheng obtained his B.S. in Medicinal Chemistry from Shanghai Medical University (1995), and his Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2000). Dr. Zheng's research interests focus on the design and synthesis of novel therapeutic agents for treating methamphetamine abuse, nicotine addition, and the related central nervous system diseases and pathologies. He is also interested in the development of new synthetic methodologies and their applications to the synthesis of biological active molecules.
