AHMAD MALKAWI,
PhD in Chemical Engineering

     Dr. Malkawi is a Post Doctoral Fellow with focus in the development and validation of advanced analytical methods for the detection, characterization and quantitation of a wide range of pharmaceutical ingredients as well as trace detection of pollutants in the present-day environment.
     Other areas of interest include the development of intravenous pharmaceutical products with focus on freeze drying cycles, dissolution and release profile, Karl Fisher analysis, and particulate matter analysis using HIAC.
     Through exposure to industrial and regulatory environment, experience has been gained in technology transfer as well as designing and validation of industrial equipments analytical cleanup methods.
     Safety is number one priority in our labs. Accordingly, special focus, through team approach, is given to maintaining safety in the laboratory by implementing of internal safety inspections and follow-ups to ensure compliance with pertinent policies regarding health and safety.
