KGS open house draws students of all ages
The annual KGS open house, during Earth Science Week 2015, brought about 190 people to our building to view displays and demonstrations. KGS scientists and partners from other organizations kept the crowd busy touring displays on rocks, gems, minerals, fossils, energy, and prehistoric life, not to mention watching demonstrations of how volcanoes work—a crowd favorite!
